Ms. Tayyaba Aurangzeb is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a distinguished finance and operations professional with over 26 years of international experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. She has held senior leadership positions with Save the Children and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), overseeing multimillion-dollar donor-funded programs across Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Central Asia. Her areas of expertise include financial governance, compliance, human resources, supply chain, information technology, and risk management. Ms. Aurangzeb has managed portfolios exceeding USD 100 million annually, ensuring transparency, accountability, and operational excellence across diverse development initiatives. She played a key leadership role in the Pakistan Reading Project, a USAID-funded education initiative that reached 1.7 million students nationwide and received the U.S. Library of Congress International Award (2020) for best literacy program. Her proven record of institutional strengthening, system integration, and capacity building brings valuable strategic insight to FAID’s governance and program development.
