FAID is working for an inclusive social protection policy where older people, persons with disability are included. We are advocating with current government social safety nets to make them more inclusive of vulnerable groups especially older people, persons with disability, women and illiterate people.
We are developing inclusive income generating models, where younger and older people and those with disabilities are grouped together to support each other. We are also advocating with Humanitarian and development organisations to fulfill their commitments of “Leave No one Behind” and include all the marginalized groups in their income generating activities.
FAID is working for designing skill training to marginalized groups especially around digital technology; to equip the participants with the latest knowledge and skills so they start some income generating activity not only for themselves but also provide employment opportunities to other community members.
