Pakistan is home to more than 13.5 million older people, yet its health, caregiving, and social protection systems remain unprepared for this growing population and older women bear a double burden of age and gender discrimination. Through SHECARE, we are building a skilled caregiving workforce, strengthening age-friendly healthcare, and empowering women through entrepreneurship and digital skills, while advancing national and city-level policies for healthy ageing.
