As an active member of ALAP, we contribute to regional learning, collaboration, and advocacy for healthy ageing and community-led development across Asia-Pacific. Through the ALAP Learning Exchange, we support preparations for the 2027 Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA) Review, ensuring older people’s voices and priorities inform policy.
Using the Support/Stimulate, Appreciate, Listen/Learn, and Share/Transfer (SALT) and Community Life Competence Process (CLCP) methodologies, we bring communities together to recognize older persons as leaders and agents of change, identifying Longevity Champions and documenting community experiences on healthy ageing and climate resilience.
